Juma leaves CAPREIT for Marsh Canada

Riaz Juma has been appointed senior vice president at Marsh Canada.

Juma was previously the senior director, insurance & risk management at Canadian Apartment Properties REIT (CAPREIT) from January 2022 until September 2022, where he was head of risk and insurance and a manager of its captive insurance company.

He joined CAPREIT in September 2017 as director of insurance and risk management.

Prior to that Juma was vice president, risk & insurance at Riskcorp from November 2016 to September 2017.

He was also on the communications committee of the Ontario Risk and Insurance Management Society from June 2014 to May 2017
