Marsh Captive Solutions reveals new leadership

Marsh Captive Solutions has appointed Ellen Charnley as its new president, succeeding Nick Durant, who has joined Guy Carpenter in a senior advisory role. Reporting to Michael Poulos, Marsh's client advisory services leader, Charnley will have oversight of Marsh's captive solutions business, which manages more than 1,200 captives across 44 domiciles. Charnley has over 20 years of experience in the captives industry, and previously served as global sales leader of Marsh Captive Solutions and other consulting businesses. Prior to that, she was responsible for Marsh’s West Zone Captive Advisory Practice and served as the office head of Marsh’s Hawaii, Arizona, and Nevada captive management operations. Poulos said: “In today’s ever-changing, complex risk environment, it is critical that we deliver strategic advice powered by advanced data, analytics, and technology solutions to our captive clients.
