USA Risk opens Tennessee office

USA Risk has opened an office in Nashville, Tennessee to service the local captive market.

Gary Osborne, group president of USA Risk said that the company had been involved in the re-writing of captive regulations, the re-launch of the Tennessee domicile and was a founding member of the Tennessee Captive Insurance Association.

The opening of a Tennessee office has been under consideration for some while, given the momentum that the domicile has achieved since the passing of its reworked captive law in 2011, said USA Risk.

Osborne noted that the missing step had been finding the right person for the Nashville office and added, “We are delighted that Scott Stone, a long time senior staff member in our Vermont office has agreed to head up our Nashville operation and will be in Tennessee from August 6th.”

“Scott brings many years of captive and risk retention group experience and enthusiasm to our Tennessee operation. We are already managing four captives in the domicile and we see a great growth opportunity for both USA Risk and Tennessee with Scott in place.”
