South Caroline appoints new captives chief financial analyst

John Michael Alexander has been appointed captives chief financial analyst with the South Carolina Department of Insurance (SCDoI).

In a statement on LinkedIn he said: “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities, mentors, and colleagues who have helped me grow throughout my time with the DOI. I’m looking forward to continuing working hard and leading the Captive Analysis Division. Thanks to all who have supported me along the way.”

Alexander first joined the SCDoI in November 2021 as a financial analyst. He became a business plan analyst in February 2023 and then a supervising financial analyst in December 2023, all based in Columbia South Carolina.

Before that he was a data research analyst the London Stock Exchange Group from May 2020 until November 2021, based in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
