WTW appoints Asia Pacific regional managing director

Adrian Chua has been appointed regional managing director for captive and insurance management solutions, Asia Pacific, at WTW. He is based in Singapore.

In a statement on LinkedIn Chua said: “Excited to announce my new journey as the regional managing director for captive and insurance management solutions, Asia Pacific with WTW. Thrilled to lead in a region brimming with potential and innovation.

“The growing interest in the use of captive insurers for risk financing is remarkable. As businesses navigate increasingly complex risks, captives provide a tailored approach that fosters financial stability and strategic risk management.”

Chua was previously at Cigna Singapore, which he joined as chief financial officer in 2019. He was appointed chief strategy officer in January of this year.

Prior to that he was chief financial officer at Sompo Insurance Singapore from July 2014 to June 2019.
