Marsh JLT Specialty builds up its renewable energy team
Marsh JLT Specialty has made two hires and two promotions to fill new roles in its renewable energy team.
Oliver Holme joins as UK and US offshore wind leader. He reports to Hamish Roberts, power leader, and Amy Barnes, energy and power leader for the US and Canada. Holme was previously a lead risk and insurance specialist for a Danish utility’s UK and US offshore wind operating assets and developments. He is based in London but will transfer to Boston in early 2021.
Michael Kolodner joins as US renewable energy leader. Based in Philadelphia, he brings nearly 20 years of operations, brokerage, advisory and underwriting experience in clean energy risk and insurance management to the role. He was previously at Nuclear Electric Insurance where he was vice president of underwriting, and reports to Barnes.
Martin Beck has been promoted to Asia offshore wind and renewable energy leader. Beck reports to Glenn Preece, power and utility leader for Asia. He is based in Singapore and was formerly an offshore wind senior client advisor for Marsh in Hamburg.
Darren Popham has been appointed as UK renewable energy leader. He previously served as a senior vice president in Marsh JLT Specialty’s construction practice, spending the last 10 years specialising in placing construction insurance for privately owned power plants on a global basis. He reports to Roberts and is based in London.
