ICCIE unveils new captive scholarships
The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) has unveiled the Harry House Captive Insurance Scholarship for minority students enrolled in an actuarial or risk management programme at an accredited college or university.
ICCIE will award one full scholarship and one course scholarship per year, which will lead to an associate in captive insurance (ACI) designation.
The recipients will be chosen based on scholastic excellence and good standing in the university community. The full scholarship recipient will be permitted to attend all required courses free of charge as long as he or she passes each course, while the modular scholarship recipient will be permitted to attend one of ICCIE's core courses, free of charge.
The Harry House Scholarship is sponsored by HAI Group, a family of companies founded by and dedicated to serving the public and affordable housing community, delivering insurance, software, capital, research, advocacy and learning solutions.
The deadline for applications is June 30, and application forms can be obtained from ICCIE. The winners will be announced at the VCIA annual conference in August.
