Guernsey Finance to host masterclass

Guernsey Finance is to host a reinsurance masterclass in London to discuss the latest developments in the world of reinsurance – and Guernsey’s ability to deliver solutions in a capital constrained world.

Titled Opportunities for Capital in a Disrupted Reinsurance Market, the event is aimed at reinsurers, capital providers, brokers, consultants and advisors. The event is part of Guernsey Finance’s ILS Insight series and will be held in July.

The masterclass will feature two panel discussions, both moderated by John Rowson, chair of the Guernsey International Insurance Association’s ESG committee. The first, Unpacking Cyber Risk, involves Ryan Dodd of Intangic, Robert Dorey of Astaara, Brian Kirwan of Vesttoo and Ian Newman of Gallagher Re.

The second panel session is titled Opportunities for Capital in a Disrupted Reinsurance Market and includes Victoria Carter of Guy Carpenter, Kate McInerney of Allen & Overy, Eric Paire of Aon Benfield and Mat Thackery of Kinmont.
