Ironshield: Puerto Rico can lead the world

Puerto Rico has the potential to become the most innovative international insurance centre in the world, according to Ruben A. Gely-Ortiz, president of Ironshield.

In a statement on LinkedIn Gely-Ortiz said that Puerto Rican technologies and innovations in the insurtech area are: “world-class and capable of changing the way the insurance industry operates as we know it.”

He said that Puerto Rican entrepreneurs have at their disposal a very powerful tool to expand their companies to Latin America, Europe and Asia and should use The International Insurance Center (CIS) in Puerto Rico.

“We must visualize the CIS as a springboard that allows the entry of technologies and insurers to different markets, where insurance and unique solutions with global reach are exported from Puerto Rico,” said Gely-Ortiz.
