Vermont sees new captives grow in 2023

Vermont has seen 12 captives register in the State over the course of the first three months of this year, according to the latest figures released.

According to the latest statistics released by the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation one dozen captives were registered in the state between January 1 and March 30.

The year started with five registrations, as Eggcellent Insurance, Brunswick Strategic Insurance, RVC II Insurance, JCF Underwriters and Maumee Valley Reinsurance all registered on January 1.

On February 16 two more registered, Farmer’s Business Network Insurance and Soteria One, followed by another pair on March 15, Strata Re Group and Rockside Insurance.

Finally the last days of March saw three more captives register: Clark Associates Insurance, CFC CI, and Slate Management.
