Captive Resources unveils trio of Health Solutions appointments

Captive Resources has announced an updated leadership structure for its Health Solutions business. The firm said that building on the executive committee updates announced last month, these updates further strengthen its commitment to strategic growth, operational clarity, and strong partnerships with brokers, members, and carrier partners.

First, Joe Parrilli has been appointed chief business officer of Health Solutions. Parrilli will maintain executive responsibility for captive budgets, including both growth and renewals, and for alignment across the Health Solutions business. He provides executive leadership to the managing director group and ensures alignment with carrier partners at the captive practice level. Parrilli also oversees key HR functions, including performance management, compensation, and overall team operations.

Second, Kevin Hallen has been appointed managing director, Health Solutions. He is responsible for leading the Health Solutions Captive Executive team, including performance management, training, and resource allocation. He oversees captive performance, including key performance metrics, working closely with health solutions underwriting and fronting partners. Hallen serves as a primary escalation point for member, broker, and carrier matters and represents Captive Resources at the board level across assigned captives and carrier relationships. He also maintains accountability for team-related HR matters.

Finally, Dave Gillis has been appointed as managing director, Medical Stop Loss. He leads the business development leaders and business development executive teams, with responsibility for performance management, training, and production standards. He oversees business development budgets and reporting, drives broker engagement and coverage strategy, and maintains senior-level broker relationships. Gillis also holds responsibility for HR-related functions across his team.

“These leadership updates underscore both the commitment of our Health Solutions leaders and the meaningful impact they are already driving across the business,” said Steve Gransbury, president of Health Solutions. “This structure brings greater clarity to roles and responsibilities that have already been in practice, positioning us to execute more effectively and continue delivering strong results for our partners and clients.”
