Gallagher Re appoints new captive head

Joshua Cryer has announced that he is starting a new position as divisional director - captives at Gallagher Re. He is based in London.

Cryer was previously director of client solutions at Intangic from September 2024 to April 2025 · 8 mosSep 2024 to Apr 2025, also based in London.

Prior to that he worked for THG from April 2021 to August 2024, first as group insurance manager from April 2021 to May 2023 and then as director of risk and insurance from May 2023 to August 2024.

He was previously head of risk and insurance at Virgin Atlantic from November 2019 to April 2021.
