Generali CARE unveils CEO of global benefits and partnerships

Wendy Liu (pictured), previously CEO of Zurich Integrated Benefits and International Life at Zurich Insurance Group, has been appointed CEO of global benefits and partnerships at Generali CARE.

In the role, Liu will lead the group’s employee benefits and B2B2C businesses. She will oversee the employee benefits unit (GEB), led by Ludovic Bayard, and the insurance and distribution partnerships entity, led by David Cadoux, and will report to Antoine Parisi, CEO of Generali CARE.

Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade at Willis Towers Watson between 2002 and 2011, specialising in insurance and benefits consulting.

The appointment comes after the recent merging of GEB and Swiss Life Network. Liu said this merger “creates a unique opportunity to build the world’s leading employee benefits network.”

“I am confident that Wendy’s strategic vision and operational expertise will be major assets for Generali CARE,” Parisi added. “She brings a strong international experience and a deep understanding of the business. Building on the strong foundations of our benefits and partnerships business, Wendy will help us strengthen our connections with our clients and partners and continue developing solutions that truly protect and care for people in their everyday lives.”
