Hylant appoints Dalpiaz to lead captives, employee benefits

Hylant Global Captive Solutions has announced that Pete Dalpiaz is joining as director of captives, employee benefits.

The company said that he will bring deep expertise and leadership in innovative risk solutions. “We're excited for the impact he'll make as we continue to grow and evolve our captive capabilities,” Hylant said in a statement on LinkedIn.

Dalpiaz was formerly a self-employed consultant, offering benefits consulting from May 2025 to September 2025 in the Greater Cleveland area.

He was also regional practice leader at employee health benefits company Roundstone from August 2023 to September 2025. Roundstone helps small and midsize organisations offer competitive benefits at a lower cost by self-funding health insurance through its group medical captive. 

Prior to that he was an employee benefits consultant at Leverity Insurance Group, from November 2022 to August 2023 and vice president employee benefits at The Fedeli Group from January 2020 to November 2022.
