ICCIE urges attendance at CICA 2025 webinar

The International Centre for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) is encouraging people to register for ICCIE's Hot Topic Webinar "Captive Rehabilitation: A Captive Case Study of Success." 

The webinar will be held live from the 2025 CICA International Conference on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 Time: 9 a.m. – 9:50 a.m. Arizona time (12 noon - 12:50 pm Eastern Daylight Time).

The deadline for registration is Monday, March 10, 2025.

The presenters include Bill Murray, Fraternity and Sorority Program Advisor, Arrowhead E & S, Steve Ratterman, chief executive of FRMT, and Judge David Warren, board chair of FRMT. 

The webinar will look into how in 2018, the board of FRMT expressed concerns about the direction of the company and how after completing its first strategic plan, six months later, the situation began to deteriorate. FRMT’s board chair attended the 2019 CICA conference, where he sought recommendations and was referred to a consultant who helped the company identify its challenges. 

After 18 months of collaborating, it developed a comprehensive plan to reorganise its coverage offering and how it managed the company. The session will review what FRMT have learned along the way and answer questions for others who are concerned about the future of their own captives.
