All-inclusive: CICA announces diversity, equity and inclusion keynote
Nick Ashburn, senior vice president at PNC Institutional Asset Management, will deliver a keynote on diversity, equity and inclusion at the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) International Conference.
As head of responsible investing (RI), Ashburn leads its investment, operational, and product strategy. He leads RI solutions for individuals, families, and institutions and the firm’s research and analytical capabilities on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics.
His speech will examine how a commitment to DE&I is no longer aspirational for companies but has become “table stakes” in today’s environment.
“We are looking forward to having Nick as our DE&I keynote speaker,” said CICA President Dan Towle.
“Innovation has always been a driving force in the captive industry, and we believe innovation is essential to future industry growth. One of the best ways to foster innovation for our association and for the industry is by creating a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion where everyone feels they belong and their contributions are valued. This is essential to attracting the best and brightest young professionals who will help deliver the captive solutions organisations will be looking for in the future,”
Ashburn is the latest speaker announced for the conference, taking place on 6-8 March in Tucson, Arizona. Last week, it was revealed that former world champion triathlete and coach Siri Lindley would deliver the main conference keynote.
Registration for the event remains open.
