Canadian Apartment Properties REIT (CAPREIT), Canada’s largest publicly-traded provider of quality rental housing, has appointed a new director of insurance and risk management.
Katie Woodman joins the business from Revera, an owner, operator and investor in the senior living sector, where she was director of risk management.
Before that, she has held senior positions in the risk and claims space at BMO Financial Group and Toronto Community Housing.
She replaces Riaz Juma who has been appointed senior vice president at Marsh Canada.
Juma was previously the senior director, insurance & risk management at CAPREIT. He joined CAPREIT in September 2017 as director of insurance and risk management.
