Mid-Rivers Risk Forum launches

A group of captive and risk management associations have come together to launch the Mid Rivers Risk Forum.

The organisations behind the event include the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance, the Missouri Captive Insurance Association, the Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) Ozark Area chapter, the RIMS St. Louis chapter and the RIMS Greater Kansas City chapter.

According to the organisers the forum: “is where the Midwestern Risk Community comes together to discuss today’s topics, find solutions from industry leaders, and develop long lasting connections for future success. This event will provide educational sessions for risk managers who work directly with brokers, are self-insured, own a captive, or all the above. A single event that allows attendees an opportunity to expand their knowledge in their area of interest and learn new creative options while having some fun along the way.”

The Forum will be on September 28-30, at the Sheraton Westport Chalet Hotel in St. Louis. Early bird registration will open on March 1.
