Covenant Choice appoints new executive director

Covenant Choice, a provider of captive insurance solutions and healthcare benefits, has announced the appointment of Ericka McPherson, as its new executive director.

With a background as an experienced executive director, legal counsellor, and public policy advocate in the insurance sector, McPherson brings a wealth of expertise and has a proven track record of success, which is vital in this new leadership role for the organisation.

The company said that as the executive director, McPherson will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the business development strategy for the captive, overseeing all captive operations, and serving as the senior relationship manager for existing captive clients. She brings a comprehensive understanding of various areas of insurance and law, including employment law, corporate governance, compliance, healthcare, public policy, advocacy, legislative relations, and executive leadership, making her a dynamic and versatile addition to the organisation.

McPherson earned her legal degree from Oklahoma City University and honed her legal, executive, and legislative advocacy skills during her nearly two-decade tenure at Oklahoma Farm Bureau and Affiliated Companies. She also held the position of Executive Director of Oklahoma Families for Affordable Healthcare.
