Niblack to leave Blackwell

Kari Niblack, founder and president of Blackwell Captive Solutions, has announced that she is leaving the company at the end of October.

In a statement on LinkedIn she said: “Two and a half years ago, we founded Blackwell Captive Solutions, and today, with a heavy heart, I am announcing my departure from the company at the end of the month. I want to express my sincere appreciation to Carrick Capital Partners for their vision and commitment to Blackwell’s growth and advancement. Together, we took a concept on a piece of paper and quickly grew a national player in the captive space. 

“Thank you for the immense honour of serving our clients and this exceptional team for the past few years. We have achieved numerous milestones, won national awards, and outperformed expectations in terms of market and brand recognition. We have grown to be a worthy contender in the highly competitive alternative risk space, and I couldn't be prouder of the team and our accomplishments.”

Niblack said that she leaves knowing Blackwell is a stellar company with an exceptionally talented group of employees and a strong client portfolio. She will not depart Blackwell entirely and will assume a senior advisor role with the company, remaining steadfast in her support of the team and what she said are the exciting opportunities that are currently in play.
