PartnerRe unveils CEO of its P&C Americas unit

PartnerRe has appointed a new CEO of its P&C Americas business, a role previously done by Jon Colello until 2024 when he was appointed president.

Scott Kreuzer (pictured) joins from Aspen Insurance Group, where he spent six years as senior managing director and head of Aspen Re America. During that time, Aspen was nominated a number of times for reinsurance awards relating to captives.

Kreuzer now has executive responsibility for PartnerRe’s P&C Americas business unit. Prior to Aspen, Kreuzer held several leadership positions at AXIS Re, including SVP and head of casualty North America, following an earlier role as head of casualty in London. During his tenure at AXIS Re, he also led the US Workers’ Compensation and Alternative Risk Treaty businesses. Earlier in his career, he held senior underwriting roles at Chubb Tempest Re, Allied World, and General Reinsurance.
