Hamidi to take over finance role at HDI Global

Golshid Hamidi will assume responsibility for controlling & finance in the Finance Department of HDI Global SE with effect from 1 September 2022. She will report directly to the chief financial officer, Dr Christian Hermelingmeier.

Hamidi is a business mathematician and actuary of the German Actuarial Society. She will be contributing more than ten years of professional experience in providing consultancy services to primary, reinsurance and industrial insurers.

“The appointment of Golshid Hamidi is giving us a colleague with excellent knowledge of the latest issues in the area of finance and controlling,” said Hermelingmeier. “Her experience on a variety of projects in global industrial insurance and reinsurance represents a valuable source of knowledge for us that will be extremely helpful in the context of our transformation in the area of finance.”

Jochen Krause has been temporary head of controlling & finance in addition to his responsibility in reinsurance accounting. After handing over the department to Hamidi, he will return to focusing entirely on the area of Reinsurance Accounting. Hermelingmeier thanked Krause for temporarily taking on the mantle of the twin responsibilities associated with leading the two departments.
