ICCIE cuts costs and increases benefits for ACI designations
The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) has made some changes to the ICCIE CE Subscription programme and the ACI Alumni Network (AAN) to make the maintenance of the Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) designation more convenient and affordable.
The cost of the CE Subscription package has been reduced to $850, down from $1,100, covering all 12 credits needed for the three-year ACI renewal window. The subscription can be paid on an annual basis, at the rate of $350 per year
From October 1 2020, AAN membership will also entitle holders to a 50 percent discount on an unlimited number of modular courses. Membership previously came with a 50 percent discount for a single modular course.
ICCE stressed that the ACI designation required continuing education to ensure those holding it are keeping up with the changes happening in the captives industry. “A stale designation is not a valid indicator of current industry expertise,” ICCIE said.
“We want to do everything we can at ICCIE to make ACI maintenance both affordable and convenient, in recognition of the importance of this aspect of the designation,” it added.
