Rafalko joins Hylant

Leane Rafalko is leaving the North Carolina Department of Insurance (NCDOI) after a two-decade career there, to join Hylant Global Captive Solutions as a senior captive consultant.

In a short statement Rafalko said that she was excited to be joining Hylant.

She was previously chief captive analyst at the NCDOI from July 2014 until this month. Before that she was insurance company examiner manager at the department from January 2011 to 2014. Prior to that position she was insurance company examiner in charge, a position she held from February 2001 to December 2010.

She was at the NCDOI for 21 and a half years in total.

Her first job after graduating was insurance company examiner at the Pennsylvania Insurance Department from 1998 to 2001.
