VCIA returns to Tuesday–Thursday format for 2026 Annual Conference

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has announced updated dates for its 2026 Annual Conference, which will now take place Tuesday, August 11 through Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Burlington, Vermont.

According to the VCIA this shift marks a return to its long-standing tradition of hosting its flagship event on a Tuesday–Thursday schedule—a format favoured by members for its balance of engagement, travel ease, and professional continuity.

“Our members spoke, and we listened,” said Ian Davis, VCIA president. “This change is a direct result of thoughtful feedback from our community, and it reflects our ongoing commitment to being responsive, member-driven, and intentional in everything we do.”

“VCIA’s strength has always come from its members,” added Gail Newman, VCIA board chair. “Returning to the Tuesday—Thursday format honours that tradition and ensures our conference continues to meet the evolving needs of the captive community.”  

The 2026 event will continue to build on VCIA’s legacy of excellence, while introducing new programming aligned with the association’s strategic priorities.

Davis also emphasised that VCIA will continue to provide timely updates as planning progresses for the 2026 conference program.
