WBD announces office changes
Womble Bond Dickinson has unveiled several changes to firm, office, and practice group leadership, effective January 1, 2025.
Jeffrey K. Simpson is the new managing partner of the Wilmington office. Simpson focuses his practice on the formation, regulation, and governance of captive insurance companies. He is a founder and former director of the Delaware Captive Insurance Association and is an active member of several other captive insurance industry associations, working closely with regulators.
Tracy A. Bacigalupo is the new managing partner of the New York office. Bacigalupo focuses her practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters. She also has substantial experience managing technology transactions and IP development and protection.
Eric K. Glidewell is the new managing partner of the Atlanta office. Glidewell advises clients in the healthcare, financial technology, manufacturing, and retail industries. He regularly counsels executive management and directors on corporate governance matters and strategic transactions.
Morgan L. Patterson is the new leader of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Creditors’ Rights team. Based in the firm’s Wilmington office, Patterson focuses her practice on corporate bankruptcy and creditors’ rights in complex Chapter 11 proceedings.
Karthika Perumal is the new managing partner of the Houston office. Perumal focuses her practice on technology law, with an emphasis on the acquisition, protection, and monetisation of IP. She advises clients on patent and transactional matters in healthcare and energy technologies, including biotechnology, chemicals, and software.
Kristen Thall Peters is a new member of the firm’s US Board. Peters focuses her practice on real estate, land use, environmental, and energy law. She advises commercial developers and property owners on matters including real estate acquisition and sales, development projects, and regulatory and land use approvals.

This announcement follows Womble’s recent completion of its merger with Lewis Roca. The combined firm has an international footprint of over 1,300 attorneys in 37 offices across the US and the UK.
