WTW taps Aon for captives regional lead

WTW has appointed Joyce Chua as its captives' regional lead for the APAC region in the company’s captives and insurance management solutions team. 

She is based in Singapore.

WTW said the team that Chua has joined will work closely with specialists in the region and globally and will provide risk finance innovations and data-driven insights to help captive owners maximise value gained from their risk finance programmes.

Chua was at Aon from November 2013 to February 2024, first as an account manager in Singapore managing the captive portfolios for a large mining corporation and then as senior manager.

She was also assistant manager (accounts & finance) at Sompo Insurance Singapore from September 2012 to November 2013.

In a statement on LinkedIn, WTW said that captives can enhance the financial and operational performance of organisations as a key element of their risk management strategy.
