John Rowson (pictured) has been made new business director at Alternative Risk Management in Guernsey.
According to Rowson on LinkedIn Alternative Risk Management is a specialist in the formation and management of insurance, including captives and commercial (re)insurers, with a license in Bermuda providing services to clients worldwide.
Rowson said that his position involves supporting ARM, a part of Howden, on their strategy to accelerate the growth of its multinational clients practice and its commitment to delivering the very best solutions for multinational and large clients.
From April 2024 to January 2025 Rowson was a consultant for Securis Investment Partners LLP, funds and transformers.
Prior to that he was chief executive of Kelvin Re from February 2015 to July 2023, again based in Guernsey.
