Charles Taylor announces new aviation executives

International loss adjusting business Charles Taylor has appointed Bob Battoo as managing director, Asia Pacific – aviation, and Dennis San Jose as resident technical manager – aviation asset management.

Battoo returns to Singapore to lead Charles Taylor’s regional team of experts who deal with all aspects of aviation risk and claims for the insurance and leasing markets. These range from aviation hull to liability, crisis management, surveys, and salvage for leading regional airlines. Battoo and his team will continue to work closely with our assistance services team who provide regional support to major airlines in Asia Pacific for baggage liability claims, as well as accident, health, and work injury compensation assurance claims.

Charles Taylor is also launching its aviation asset management service to the region by appointing Dennis San Jose. Well established in other areas of Charles Taylor’s global footprint, this is the first time this capability is available in Asia Pacific.

Aviation asset management offers to aircraft owners, financiers, airlines and lessors worldwide services which include aircraft lease management, technical asset management, aircraft remarketing, redelivery and repossession support, technical representation and continuing airworthiness management (CAMO) services.

In their roles as senior members of the regional team, the two new executives will leverage their  experience to benefit clients as well as mentoring the next generation of adjusters at Charles Taylor.

Richard Yerbury, chief executive, Charles Taylor Claims Solutions – International says: “I am delighted Bob and Dennis are now part of our regional offering. Our aviation team delivers better results for the world of aviation insurance with our specialist technical expertise, comprehensive range of solutions, global footprint and powerful technology.”

“I am privileged to join Charles Taylor Adjusting and contribute to its legacy of excellence in aviation claims,” said Battoo. “Whether relating to complex aircraft, equipment or liability, airport infrastructure, baggage incidents, aircraft surveys, asset management, appraisal or remarketing, we have the right capabilities to assess and manage your claims and technical projects efficiently for you.”
