Lucy joins CAP as senior consultant

Captive Advisory Partners (CAP) has announced that Joseph Lucy (pictured) will be joining the CAP team as a senior consultant.

In a statement on LinkedIn CAP said: “Joe comes to us with over three decades of commercial insurance experience, including senior leadership roles with major national carriers. His expertise in evaluating complex risks, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that drive profitable growth makes him a valuable addition to our team.”

Lucy has more than 35 years of production underwriting experience spanning captives, loss sensitive E&S, reinsurance and complex risk financing structures.

He has previously held senior underwriting leadership roles with The Hartford, XL Group, and WR Berkley, in the process developing what CAP said is a distinguished track record of profitable growth, underwriting innovation, and strategic portfolio management.

In the past he has also built a profitable book of single parent captives, led the formation and management of three heterogeneous group captives, and advised on large multinational accounts with complex risk profiles.
