McClure elected as CICA chair
Heather McClure (pictured), managing partner at Helio Risk, has been elected by her peers as chair of the board of directors of the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA).
McClure and all team members of Helio Risk are highly active in representing captive owner interests at every level of the captive industry, said Helio Risk in a statement. The relationships Helio Risk builds with other service providers, domicile regulators, and other industry professionals on behalf of our clients are critical to a captive’s success.
“With over 25 years of experience in captive insurance and risk management, McClure brings a wealth of expertise to her new role,” said Helio Risk on LinkedIn. “Her background includes serving as a captive owner, leading internal risk operations for organisations, and her current work as a captive manager and risk consultant at Helio Risk.”
A CICA member for 15 years, McClure has served on the board of directors for the past four years. She has been recognised as one of Captive International’s most influential women in the captive industry and was named Captive Review’s US Captive Risk Manager of the Year, also earning a spot on its Power 50 list.
