New banking solutions executive at Kairos Risk Solutions

Kairos Risk Solutions, a boutique risk consultancy firm based in Singapore and Shanghai that primarily develops parametric, agriculture, trade credit and surety risk solutions, has announced the appointment of Stephen Lee as managing director, banking solutions. 

Lee was previously senior advisor and head of global trade product management, DBS Bank.

Lee is a banking veteran of over three decades, a well-respected senior executive with a robust skill set that includes banking, structured products, credit risk, risk management and trade finance. Having been based in various countries within Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, he will be spearheading Kairos consulting solutions to major banks within Asia.

“I am excited to join the team at Kairos Risk Solutions,” Lee said. “Banking and Insurance are inextricably intertwined and interdependent. Together with Kairos push towards AI and their keen understanding of risks, we can offer numerous bespoke products to the industry.” 

Kairos chief executive Jeffrey Khoo said: “We are honoured to have such a well-known figure in the banking industry join our team. Together with Trade Credit veteran Albert Lim and Board Member Ng Teck Wee, who is an experienced fund manager, they will be a formidable multidisciplinary team to support our client’s needs.”
