ICCIE to hold cyber seminar

The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) will be holding a Hot Topic seminar in October on cyber insurance issues.

Entitled “Update on Cyber Program Innovation Through the Use of Technology” the webinar will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. The registration deadline is on Monday, October 23, 2023.

Moderated by Ward Ching, from Aon’s Strategic Solutions and Innovation Group, the panel includes Shawn Ram, Coalition, head of insurance product development, Paul Campbell, FIS, director of risk management and Paul Kim, Aon, strategy and product development.

In a statement on the webinar ICCIE said: “Cyber insurance continues to be a significant risk finance problem area for most organizations. While systems breaches have increased in complexity, ransomware has quickly made cyber coverage premium pricing increases and capacity shortages have encouraged insurance industry innovation. As a follow up to the 2022 HCIC Forum, this panel will discuss what new program innovations involving the use of captives are emerging in the market.”
