Zurich Insurance announces replacement for Sansom

Adriana Scherzinger has been appointed group head of captives at Zurich Insurance, effective September 1, 2024. She will be based in Zurich, Switzerland, and report to Vinicio Cellerini, global head of customer and distribution management, commercial insurance.

Scherzinger is currently head of alternative risk solutions, US national accounts at Zurich North America and responsible for the service and management of complex international insurance programs for multinational customers.

According to Zurich She is a seasoned re/insurance and risk management professional with 17 years of insurance industry experience. She has worked for Zurich in various regions around the world, predominantly handling international corporate business.

Her extensive experience includes working with Zurich Latin America, as regional Head of International Program Business, Commercial Insurance, and as Senior Captive Fronting Manager in Switzerland, Spain, Middle East, and the Asia Pacific.

Scherzinger succeeds Emma Sansom who left Zurich at the beginning of April.
